“A Church for the Community.”
Barwell Methodist Church is a Christian community in the centre of Barwell village. We try our best to follow Jesus’ commandments to love God with all we’ve got and love our neighbours as ourselves. We have around 85 confirmed members, and many others who make up our church family. You are always welcome to join us on a Sunday, and there are lots of other things we are involved in during the week…
Every Tuesday in term-time, we run 2 youth café’s for ages 11-14 and 14-18. This is led by our Circuit Youth Worker, Chris Newlyn.

Wednesday Worship, soup and coffee
Every Wednesday morning at 10am we have a short service, led by various people, and this is followed by coffee. From 11.30am until 1pm we serve our famous ‘soup lunches’ – and the place is usually buzzing with friendship and fun. Come along and see for yourself!
Our church is a distribution centre for the Hinckley Area Foodbank and you can also donate food at our drop-off point. The Barwell Foodbank operates every Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm. Vouchers can be obtained for those in need from various local agencies.
Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors
We are a partner church of the Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors, launched in January 2011, to meet some of the needs of our communities’ young people on the streets.
