Barwell Methodist Church is a Christian community in the centre of Barwell village. We try our best to follow Jesus’ commandments to love God with all we’ve got and love our neighbours as ourselves. We have around 85 confirmed members, and many others who make up our church family. You are always welcome to join us on a Sunday, and there are lots of other things we are involved in during the week…
Every Tuesday in term-time, we run 2 youth café’s for ages 11-14 and 14-18. This is led by our Circuit Youth Worker, Chris Newlyn.

Wednesday Worship, soup and coffee
Every Wednesday morning at 10am we have a short service, led by various people, and this is followed by coffee. From 11.30am until 1pm we serve our famous ‘soup lunches’ – and the place is usually buzzing with friendship and fun. Come along and see for yourself!
Our church is a distribution centre for the Hinckley Area Foodbank and you can also donate food at our drop-off point. The Barwell Foodbank operates every Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm. Vouchers can be obtained for those in need from various local agencies.
Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors
We are a partner church of the Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors, launched in January 2011, to meet some of the needs of our communities’ young people on the streets.

Skittle Evening with hot food at Newbold Working Men’s Club on Friday February 9th from 7.00pm. Cost £7.50 pp inc food.
CHAPEL ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND- Saturday 3rd March – Gift Day Thanksgiving Gifts from 10am until 12 noon at Church. Coffee will be available. An opportunity to give a gift to the Church as we celebrate our Anniversary. In the evening from 6.30pm a Concert with musical duo Timeless and hot food . Tickets just £7 each from Pauline Ward 01455 847965. On Sunday March 4th at 10.45am the Anniversary service will be Conducted by Rev. Nick Young who grew up in Barwell when his late Father Ian was the Minister.
Bangers and Bingo evening at Church on Friday 6th April from 7pm. More detail later.

Saturday 9th June Dominoes evening from 7pm with Fish and Chip supper.
Saturday 21st July Strawberry Cream Teas at Sue and Mike Holt’s home in aid of both Cancer Uk and Church Funds
