Each Sunday, our morning service starts at 10.30. There are always people ready to give a friendly welcome to all, and especially to help anyone who is with us for the first time.
There is a Junior Church for children and young people, and the very young can be taken into the foyer wher there are toys and Story sacks. The children usually worship with the adults for part of the service, and then enjoy activities suitable for their ages while the service continues.
Our worship includes hymns and worship songs, prayers, readings from the Bible, and a sermon or some other way for us to think about what we can learn from the Bible.
On the first Sunday of each month all ages stay together and members of our scouting and guiding groups parade. This service is designed to be accessible for everyone.
On Sunday evenings our worship begins at 6pm, and tends to be little quieter than the morning service.
Both morning and evening services include Holy Communion about once per month. They tend to last about an hour, a little longer with Communion, and perhaps a little shorter for the parade service.
Once each month we hold a Holy Communion service at 8.30am: it tends to be a more reflective service of about 45 minutes, followed by breakfast, usually on the second Sunday of the month.
We also hold “Messy Church” from 3pm on the fourth Sunday of the month. This includes craft activities and lots of fun, and is especially appropriate for families with younger children (but plenty of others enjoy it too!). This is very informal and relaxed.
