Claire Sutcliffe is our new Children and Families Ministry Enabler. From the 1st of January she is working within the Circuit, and in Hinckley for some of her hours, “to encourage the churches she will be working with to pray about where they would like to see growth within their Church, and how we can all enable more people to become disciples of Jesus.”
This is what she says about herself:
“My name is Claire and I have recently been appointed as the Children and Families Ministry Enabler for the Hinckley Methodist Circuit.
I have been a Christian for most of my life, I joined the Girls Brigade at the local Methodist Church when I was 9, I enjoyed weekends away with MAYC with our youth group and performed at the Royal Albert Hall.
Previously I was working within another circuit in the district.
We are a fostering family and have been fostering for 9 years, my husband Dave, and I have 3 children Jack, Thomas and Poppy.
In my spare time I love to crochet, I also play trumpet in Leicester Community Concert Band and I love to sing, I sang in a band for a while called Blue Dragon Illusion.”
