“A Church for the Community.”
Barwell Methodist Church is a Christian community in the centre of Barwell village. We try our best to follow Jesus’ commandments to love God with all we’ve got and love our neighbours as ourselves. We have around 85 confirmed members, and many others who make up our church family. You are always welcome to join us on a Sunday, and there are lots of other things we are involved in during the week…
Wednesday Prayer Service – A quiet reflective service of half an hour, from 10am until 10.30am. Every Wednesday. Everyone is welcome
Food Bank
Our church is a distribution centre for the Hinckley Area Foodbank and you can also donate food at our drop-off point. The Barwell Foodbank operates every Wednesday between 2pm and 4pm. Vouchers can be obtained for those in need from various local agencies. –
Foodbank vouchers can now be obtained for eligible families by either contacting the Church or Rev. Andrew Lomax on 01455 846335.
Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors
We are a partner church of the Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors, launched in January 2011, to meet some of the needs of our communities’ young people on the streets.
