Earl Shilton Methodist Church

“Putting Christ at the Centre.”

Earl Shilton Methodist Church is a small community with our eyes and hearts firmly on the needs of our big community! Seeking to share God’s amazing love with all who come near.

Our church is literally in the centre of the town – you can’t miss it! – and we’d love for you to pay us a visit. You’d certainly be made very welcome. We currently have just over 40 confirmed members of our church who worship regularly, but our church is so much more than that…

BARWELL & EARL SHILTON STREET PASTORS

Street-Pastors-300x244We are the home of the Barwell and Earl Shilton Street Pastors, launched in January 2011, to meet some of the needs of our communities’ young people on the streets.

Find out more about Street Pastors on the Ascension Trust website.

YOUTH CAFÉ

Every Wednesday in term-time, we run 2 youth café’s for ages 11-14 and 14-18. The café is led by our Circuit Youth Worker, Chris Newlyn. Check out the Facebook page!

TUESDAY MINI-MARKET AND COFFEE

Every Tuesday morning we run a thriving coffee morning in the church, and bookstalls (and much more besides) on the street outside. Come along and see for yourself!

UNITED BREAKFAST CLUB – Free Breakfast 3rd Sunday of month

A free breakfast is provided for children who want to bring their parents or friends starting at 9.30am and finishing in time for children and adults to attend a church service if they wish. The aim is for everyone to sit down together, eat and chat and enjoy each other’s company. This is supported by Churches Together.

CAFÉ-STYLE WORSHIP – 1st Sunday of month

Once a month, we have an informal time of worship, thinking and learning together, as we explore topical themes around tables with food and good company. Everyone is very welcome. 4.30pm on the 1st Sunday of each month.
