Mission Statement

To worship God and share Christian beliefs and values within the community.

Objectives

  1. For all to celebrate God’s love.
  2. To grow as Christians through mutual support, care and teaching.
  3. To be good neighbours, challenge injustice and care for God’s world.
  4. To show others the wonders of belief in Jesus Christ.

Aims

Through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will:-

  • Develop forms of worship that are appropriate, relevant and accessible to all of our community groups.
  • Continue to develop our worship in an ecumenical setting.
  • Encourage the involvement of everyone in small groups to nurture faith.
  • Continue to develop effective pastoral care within our church and community.
  • Be more involved in Community needs which arise, both locally and globally.
  • Be committed to being a FairTrade church and actioning environmental best practice.
  • Provide opportunities for the people of our church community to share their Christian faith as the Spirit leads.
  • Provide varied opportunities for anyone to access and enjoy the fellowship of Christians.

Everyone is aware of the situation facing our world at this time. The church here in Earl Shilton is closed for the time being but it is hoped to provide some space for anyone wishing to come and sit a while for prayer. Further details will be posted later.
